Life resumes...

I haven't been posting anything since the first day of Chinese New Year... been busy, and tired, and lazy. =P

As a quick recap... on the first day of CNY, I stayed at home waiting for relatives to visit, but they didn't come until like 9 at night... Only few of them came though...

On the second day, I went out with Yew Weng, Chee Leong and the guys at night to play DotA. (life gets sad from here onwards...)

On the third day, I went out with Chris, Chee Leong, Yew Weng, and the bunch of Kok Ming's gang. We went to Times Square, walked to The Ship to eat steak... I ordered lamb chop, wasn't cheap though... After that, we walked back to Times Square to watch Constantine. It was a pretty okay movie, not too bad... the take-home message was... smoking kills ^_^ , so to those idiots out there who are smoking... its time to drop it. (like anyone heeds this kinda advice anyway... sheesh). We went to Sungei Wang to bowl after that, but it was pretty expensive there so we ended up doing nothing. At night went to play DotA, Chris couldn't make it though. It was quite a full house, with almost 16 of us there... getting sad huh? Went to mamak after that.

On the fourth day, we were supposed to go visiting but no one had planned anything so I just stayed home. At 5, went out to buy gifts and passed Mel the webcam which she'd 'tumpang' me to buy. Bought stuff for Carl Lin and Chris... then at 7, Chee Leong fetched Yew Weng and I to dinner. With Chris of course, was really nice ^_^ and then at night... guess what? DotA again... so we went and played till about 12:30 or so, then went home. Guess that'll be all the gaming I'll have for quite some time... everyone's going back to studies or back overseas. Gonna be kinda lonely... ohh well, life goes on.

On the fifth day, went to visit Carl Lin.. brought my bro along. It was nice getting to see her and her mom was super friendly... enjoyed being there.

On Valentine's day (14th Feb), went to pick Carl Lin up from her college and headed to Sunway Pyramid. We didn't have enough time to catch a movie cause I had to go pick her cousin up at Taylor's by 6 and send them home. We just walked around not doing much... but I was pretty much satisfied. Its the quality time spent that matters, rather than what is done during that time.

That night went out for dinner, bro choked on a fish-bone... It got stuck in his throat. Went to the hospital and waited for like eternity before the doctor saw him, and when she did she had this sarcastic tone and wouldn't do anything, saying that her MA's (medical assistants) couldn't see anything. That bitch!! What kind of a useless doctor is that?? She could have at least made an effort to check on him herself. If one day when I become a doctor and she's gotten into a major accident or something, I'm gonna throw that shit back at her face for sure. Well, I guess looking at things from a patient's point of view... there really is a certain set of expectations from going to see a doctor, and that doctor really failed my expectations totally... even if there was nothing which could be done, she could have at least minded her manners and sarcasm. So all we got was paracetamol and a referal letter to a specialist should things worsen... sigh... reached home at about 1:30am, wasted like 2 hours at the hospital for nothing! Gets me really pissed... these kinda things. To think that being a doctor was a noble profession... just the sight of those kind of doctors make me balk. To all you batchmates out there who are reading... make sure you guys keep your sarcasm checked and mind your manners yeah, =P

Yesterday nothing much happened, just went for lab rotations... nothing much to see anyway. Same goes for today, and that's why I'm sitting here posting.
