Friends

I've been thinking back lately... about how life had become pretty much meaningless lately, being a medical student and all...

I'd say I enjoyed my college days much more than I do in uni, back then things were more carefree... and the bunch of friends were great! That got me thinking... will friends stay friends even if I can't find the time to chat them up? I'd lost some pretty close friends due to time constrains and distance, guess its just the matter of giving a call or sending an SMS... but I guess I'm just too busy or lazy to do so sometimes. Wonder if some of them still remember me, ohh well....

I've got friends from high school, from college, from the internet, from internet gaming, from uni, my PBL group... so many of them, many of which I've lost contact with... but many of which I still do keep in touch with and I'd say these are the best ones. Life must go on, everyone will lead their own lives and walk their own paths... Just can't help wondering what the future has in store for me and everyone else around me. Fate had it this way...

Life, oh life~!

Been really tired and worn out lately, sleeping in classes, mind wandering... It was a pretty hard time. Its the weekend now, finally! And as to Chris and Sunny's comments from my previous post... yes B- is a fail, its just crazy hopeless... but I'm gonna have to give it my all... GI isn't too hard really, I just wanna do my very best in this and hopefully score something more on the positive side..... like... A- =p

I'm not stupid, I'm just not studying enough (at least that's what I believe)... laziness takes its toll on me every now and then... need to focus all my energy into studying hard. I've been covering some of the Foundation 2 material... a lil of immunology to be exact. It shifts my progress from nil to 5%, yay!! An achievement >.<

Went jogging earlier, I'm not too tired right now as I didn't overdo myself by jogging the whole time... basically just walking for most of the time... I believe it helps. Hopefully my 6-month-old-fetus-like tummy will reduce in size soon, ^_^

Cheers!

Failed Hemato

I just got my results today, got a B- for hematology... Ironically, I'm feeling happy about it... considering how upset I was about my B for respi... I guess sometimes things have a weird way of catching us by surprise. I studied really hard for respi and barely passed, whereas for hemato... I was pretty much behind schedule and didn't know much, quite lucky to have gotten a B-... Things could have been worse, way worse.

Obese people have no stamina!

Ahh well, I'm feeling tired today... Lectures were pretty heavy today, was tired halfway through the second lecture so it took a lot of effort to absorb what the visiting lecturer, Dr. Margaret Sheehan was babbling about. She's not bad really, but tends to get monotonous after sometime and it just causes my mind to drift...

Went jogging at 6, after a heck long time of not doing much exercise... sad to say, I was totally exhausted by 1 1/2 laps around the playground... spent most of my time walking though. Leg muscles got tired and felt crampy... sheesh.

Was suppose to teach tuition today, but unfortunately... my kind employer conviniently NOT KNOW that there was a class today, as her children had not informed her about it... So, it is now postponed till tomorrow... Ahh well, guess its alright. More time for them to do my homework. Those lazy bumps..... they hardly ever do or finish the homework I gave them... just like I was way back then =p

Feeling tired, gotta hit the immunology books soon, followed by pathology and microbio... EOS 3 is coming soon, and I'm hardly prepared... and I already know I'm SO DEAD for hemato's results which is gonna be out tomorrow... 10 people got C+, 3 got C.... its just the matter of where I stand amongsts the bottom-most portion of the batch...... sad!

Change

Change : To cause to be different

Change is a thing that happens all the time... every single second everything around us changes. For a person, however he/she might be changing at every moment, much of the that person's personality stays intact. It would be sometimes beneficial to make a change, for things to get better... Yew Weng for example is changing from angel to human... ironic, yes. But it is a necessity in life, in this day.

I'm changing, trying as much as I can... for the benefit of myself. Trying hard to ride on the momentum to make a difference... to pass sem 3 EOS, to lose weight (I'm touching obesity). Ahh well, guess this doesn't mean I'll be any less lazy, playful, perverted, or streetwise (...read HUMAN =p ). Maybe the lazy part... ohh well. Wish me luck!

Hematology exam's a big screw!

Nothing more to be said... guess I'll have to work harder for GI... ain't gonna be a walk in the park, I suppose
